Srinagar, New Delhi, Oct 26 — Amid escalating tensions following recent terrorist attacks in the Kashmir Valley, Inspector General of the Border Security Force (BSF) Kashmir frontier, Ashok Yadav, sought the urgent need for a unified security response. Speaking to reporters during the passing out parade for 629 newly trained BSF recruits at the STC Humhama, Yadav noted the ongoing threat analysis being conducted by security agencies.
“A coordinated response is crucial,” Yadav stated. “We are collaborating closely with other agencies to address the emerging threats in the region.” His comments come in light of the recent surge in violence, prompting security forces to reassess their strategies.
Yadav further acknowledged the potential for increased infiltration attempts as the winter approaches. “With snowfall on the horizon, we anticipate a rise in infiltration activities,” he noted. “However, the BSF, in conjunction with the army, has established a robust counter-infiltration grid to ensure that any such attempts are thwarted.”
The newly recruited personnel, trained in modern techniques, are set to be deployed across various frontiers to bolster national security. “These recruits are prepared to serve the nation effectively,” Yadav affirmed, underscoring the commitment of the BSF to maintaining peace and security in the region.
