Chandigarh, July 7: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and his wife Dr. Gurpreet Kaur celebrated their wedding anniversary on Sunday, with the First Lady of Punjab posting a warm message for her husband on social media platform X.
“Happy wedding anniversary, my friend… May your happiness continue… I pray that you always continue to progress… Today is a special day in our lives. Happy anniversary, Mann Sahib,” Dr. Kaur wrote, sharing her wishes publicly.
The couple tied the knot on July 7, 2022, in a private ceremony held at the Chief Minister’s official residence in Chandigarh, just months after Mann took office following the Aam Aadmi Party’s sweeping victory in the Punjab Assembly elections.
The anniversary marks two years of marriage for the couple, who welcomed their daughter, Niamat Kaur, last year. Her first birthday was celebrated three months ago.
This is Bhagwant Mann’s second marriage. He was previously married and has two children from his first marriage, who currently live abroad.
