Chandigarh, March 20: The late Punjabi artist Shubhdeep Singh, famously known as Sidhu Moosewala, is slated to become the first Indian musician to headline a global tour featuring hologram technology. The “Signed to God World Tour” will utilize three-dimensional projections to recreate the singer’s stage presence for audiences across eight countries. This move places Moosewala among a select group of international icons, including Tupac Shakur and Michael Jackson, who have performed via digital recreation after their passing.

Official details regarding the project emerged through a 42-second teaser shared on Moosewala’s verified social media accounts. The promotional video depicts the artist opening his eyes before transitioning to scenes of a crowded stadium, simulating the atmosphere of a live performance. Organizers stated that fans will experience the singer’s original vocals and energy through life-sized 3D shows complemented by cinematic visuals.

The tour is expected to launch on June 11, coinciding with the birth anniversary of the singer, who was killed in May 2022. According to the official tour website, the schedule includes performances in India, Pakistan, the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, the UAE, Australia, and New Zealand. The platform carries the tagline “Hale Mukeya Nahi,” asserting that the artist’s musical legacy remains active despite his untimely death at the age of 28.

Moosewala’s family has continued to manage his artistic estate, releasing 12 posthumous tracks to date, including the recent song “Barota.” The upcoming tour also pays tribute to his younger brother, Shubhdeep Singh, known as Nikka Sidhu. Legal proceedings remain ongoing regarding the singer’s death in Mansa district, where several individuals have been named as key accused in the investigation.
