Noida, June 29: A major fire broke out in a 21st-floor apartment at the Aranya Society within the jurisdiction of the Sector-113 police station. The flames spread rapidly to an adjacent apartment, sending thick plumes of smoke billowing from the high-rise building and causing widespread panic among residents. Six fire tenders rushed to the spot to launch an intensive firefighting operation. Authorities confirmed that no casualties or injuries occurred during the incident.

While an official investigation into the exact trigger is underway, local police personnel stated that the initial assessment points toward a technical malfunction. “The primary reports indicate that an air conditioner explosion initiated the blaze, which quickly engulfed the immediate area before spreading,” declared a responding official at the scene. Emergency teams managed to secure the floor and prevent further escalation to other units.

This incident coincided with a separate fire emergency reported during the early hours of Monday in northwest Delhi’s Keshav Puram area. The Delhi Fire Service deployed teams to a four-storey residential building where a fire had broken out on the ground floor. Firefighters successfully controlled the situation by 2:30 AM after a targeted operation.

The Delhi blaze was confined to two dozen electricity meters located at the base of the structure. Three residents, identified as Gaurav, Kaira, and Indu Batra, were trapped by the rising smoke but were safely evacuated from the terrace by rescue teams. Regarding the Delhi incident, a fire safety officer asserted that the swift containment prevented the flames from reaching the upper residential floors, adding that the precise cause of the electrical fire remains under active investigation.
