Dhuri, July 2: The Punjab government officially implemented its final pending electoral guarantee on Wednesday with the rollout of the Mukh Mantri Maavan Dheeyan Satkar Yojna. Launching the initiative through a dedicated web portal in Dhuri, Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann announced the immediate, direct transfer of a consolidated three-month monetary allocation into the bank accounts of more than forty lakh registered female beneficiaries. The landmark scheme is projected to encompass roughly ninety-seven percent of the state’s female population, backed by a dedicated state budgetary allotment of 9,300 crore rupees.

Under the structural framework of the project, eligible women above eighteen years of age receive a monthly allowance of 1,000 rupees, while beneficiaries from the Scheduled Caste category receive an enhanced monthly sum of 1,500 rupees. The initial payout distributed during the launch event covered the consecutive months of July, August, and September, resulting in immediate lump-sum electronic transfers of 3,000 rupees and 4,500 rupees respectively. State officials confirmed that incoming notifications began reaching the mobile phones of recipients during the inaugural ceremony itself.

The administration maintained that the infrastructure supporting the initiative was designed to ensure long-term stability and permanent continuity. Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann stated that the financial framework was established with meticulous care to protect the system from future operational interruptions. “The Satkar Raashi has started from July and it will pave the way for women empowerment. This is an ambitious scheme and we have launched it with complete planning to ensure that it continues permanently,” the Chief Minister declared.

The policy also contains inclusive clauses for late applicants, ensuring that women who enroll in the coming months will receive retrospective benefits dating back to the initial July launch period. Furthermore, the administration specified that individuals currently drawing standard social security pensions remain fully eligible to receive this additional benefit. Families with multiple qualifying female members will see independent disbursements granted to each individual woman.

Senior political leaders described the systemic overhaul as a transformative moment for public administration within the country. Senior party colleague Manish Sisodia asserted that the successful execution of the program effectively fulfills the core governing platform presented to the electorate. “This financial assistance is much more than a direct cash benefit. It is a profound transfer of trust to the women of Punjab,” Sisodia maintained.

Addressing the broader economic philosophy of his cabinet, Chief Minister Mann affirmed that state revenues are being systematically redirected back to the public through structured social infrastructure, free domestic power allocations, and transparent employment opportunities. He declared that while the monthly stipends function as a practical cushion for economically weaker households, the primary objective remains the restoration of social dignity and fiscal autonomy for women within the family unit.
