Ranchi, August 8: Demonstrations over alleged discrepancies in competitive recruitment examinations will continue in Jharkhand after two consecutive rounds of discussions between state officials and student representatives ended without reaching a final agreement.
An eight-member delegation representing the JPSC-JSSC Abhyarthi Nyay Manch met with senior government representatives at Morabadi on Saturday morning to discuss structural reforms in state recruitment tests.
The delegation reiterated core demands concerning competitive examinations conducted by state commissions while raising additional grievances regarding Trained Graduate Teacher recruitment tests. The government panel comprised state ministers Sudivya Kumar Sonu, Chamra Linda, Deepika Singh Pandey, and Sanjay Yadav.
Speaking after the session, Minister Sudivya Kumar Sonu stated that the administration is committed to addressing procedural concerns and appealed to candidate organizations to submit formal recommendations via a dedicated portal for consideration in an upcoming policy review.
Student representatives acknowledged that officials listened to their grievances and promised to submit the points directly to Chief Minister Hemant Soren. However, leaders of the movement maintained that the ongoing hunger strike at Jaipal Singh Munda Stadium will persist until formal administrative orders implementing their demands are issued.
