Telangana, 30 October 2024: A 33-year-old woman died, and 15 others fell ill with food poisoning after consuming momos from a single street vendor in various locations within Hyderabad’s Banjara Hills area, Telangana police said.
According to Ram Babu, Sub-inspector of Banjara Hills Police Station, authorities received a complaint stating that Reshma Begum, 33, died after eating momos, with 15 others also affected by food poisoning from the same vendor.
“We have registered a case and are investigating the matter,” Babu said.
The police have begun an investigation into the incident, and further updates are expected.
