Hoshiarpur, August 28: Police authorities in Hoshiarpur taken a fifty-two-year-old government school headmaster into custody in connection with the sexual assault of an eleven-year-old child. Officials confirmed that the incident occurred near a local village cremation ground on August eleventh between one-thirty and two-thirty in the afternoon.
The police action initiated following a formal complaint submitted by the minor’s father detailing the assault.
Sub-Inspector Gurbachan Singh, Station House Officer of Hariana police station, declared that law enforcement personnel arrested the suspect on Thursday and are proceeding with further formal inquiries.
Investigators registered a formal case under pertinent sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita alongside the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act.
Station officials affirmed that detailed questioning of the suspect remains underway while legal proceedings advance through district channels.
