Lucknow: Local landowners and beneficiary families whose properties were acquired for the Lucknow Development Authority’s ambitious Varun Vihar and Naimish Nagar schemes have expressed deep appreciation for the administration’s land acquisition process. Following the ground-breaking ceremony led by state leadership for both housing projects, property owners affirmed that the compensation distribution was executed smoothly, without administrative hurdles or financial delays.
Several landholders shared details regarding their compensation packages and how the disbursed funds have helped secure their financial futures. Muleshwar Singh, a resident of Dona village whose land was acquired under the Varun Vihar project, maintained that the transaction occurred with his full consent, enabling him to reinvest the proceeds into purchasing alternative real estate across multiple locations.
Similarly, Kamlesh Kumar from Dona village stated that he received two crore eighty lakh rupees for his one-hectare property. He noted that the funds were used to construct a residence and acquire land in Unnao district, adding that the new residential schemes will drive infrastructure growth across surrounding areas. Sushma Singh of Bakshi Ka Talab affirmed that she received two crore ninety lakh rupees for her land in Kamalabad village under the Naimish Nagar layout through a seamless transfer process.
For younger beneficiaries, the prompt financial disbursement has created avenues for higher education and personal advancement. Namra Fatima, a recent secondary school graduate preparing for medical entrance examinations, asserted that her family received seventy lakh fifty-eight thousand rupees via demand draft for land located in Saidapur village. She maintained that the timely payout will fund her future medical studies while allowing her family to invest in property assets.
Other long-time residents highlighted the efficiency of the administrative procedures involved. Om Prakash Awasthi of Bakshi Ka Talab, who received one crore ninety-six lakh rupees for his property under the Naimish Nagar scheme, declared that the funds reached his bank account within a single day of completing the registration requirements. He added that he successfully utilized the compensation to acquire sixteen bighas of land along Biswan Road in Sitapur, while securing the remaining balance in bank deposits.
