NEW DELHI, NOV 4: The Indian Youth Congress (IYC) national leadership has suspended 215 office-bearers across seven state units and the Uttar Pradesh Central unit for failing to attend the opposition INDIA bloc rally held at Ramlila Maidan in Delhi. The organizational crackdown covers key representatives from Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Telangana, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, and Uttar Pradesh Central, with suspensions remaining in effect until further notice.
According to internal communications, party leadership viewed the absences as a breach of organizational discipline during a major national event organized to highlight key public concerns.
Organizational sources maintained that reinstatement for the affected functionaries would remain subject to dedicated ground-level work and compliance with future leadership directions.
