Chandigarh: The Punjab government has issued administrative orders assigning additional responsibilities to five Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers across key administrative posts in the state. As part of the updates, Vinay Bublani, a 2008-batch IAS officer currently serving as the Patiala Divisional Commissioner, has been given the additional charge of Divisional Commissioner, Ropar, alongside the responsibility of Revenue Secretary.
The reassignment of duties aims to streamline administrative oversight across key government divisions and revenue management. The state government routinely issues such orders to manage vacancies and ensure uninterrupted coordination across regional divisional headquarters.
