Chandigarh, 7 January 2025: Chandigarh has once more secured the “Achiever” status in the Logistics Ease Across Different States (LEADS) 2024 rankings, reaffirming its leadership in the Union Territory category.

Initiated in 2018 by the Union Ministry of Commerce and Industry, the LEADS initiative evaluates logistics performance across states and Union Territories, emphasizing informed policy decisions and development strategies.

The 2024 rankings assessed performance across four critical pillars: Logistics Infrastructure, Logistics Services, Operating and Regulatory Environment, and Sustainable Logistics. The findings also shed light on initiatives implemented by states and UTs while identifying areas for growth and innovation.

“We are committed to maintaining Chandigarh’s position and will strive for continued improvement in the logistics sector,” stated Nishant Kumar Yadav, Deputy Commissioner and Secretary of Industries, Chandigarh.

As Chandigarh sets its sights on further enhancing logistics efficiency, its consistent performance underscores its role as a model for other Union Territories.
