CM Extends Greetings on Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s Prakash Purab

Chandigarh, November 15: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann extended his warm greetings to Punjabis worldwide on the auspicious occasion of Prakash Purab, celebrating the birth anniversary of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji, the founder of Sikhism.

Highlighting Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s teachings, Mann described him as a profound spiritual guide who paved the way for salvation through devotion and faith in God.

He emphasized the Guru’s vision of a casteless society, free from superstitions, aimed at uplifting humanity. “Guru Nanak Dev Ji inspired people to embrace new ideas and urged them to rise above casteism, enmity, falsehood, and hypocrisy,” Mann noted.

The Chief Minister called upon people to follow the path of service and humility laid out by the Guru, striving to build a peaceful and prosperous society. He urged everyone to celebrate Gurpurab with devotion, transcending barriers of caste, color, race, and religion.
