Chandigarh, April 21: Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann expanded the state’s global investment outreach during a series of strategic engagements in the Netherlands on Tuesday, aiming to bolster international partnerships and economic cooperation. While meeting with the Netherlands India Chamber of Commerce and Trade (NICCT) in The Hague, the Chief Minister advocated for stronger bilateral business ties and increased capital flow into the state’s manufacturing and food processing sectors.

The Chief Minister asserted that Punjab provides a strategic focus on export-led growth and integration with global supply chains. He noted that the state’s current governance framework is designed to be investor-friendly, supported by robust infrastructure and a highly skilled workforce.

“Punjab is the best investment destination across the globe, and we invite Dutch enterprises to explore the promising opportunities available for both new and expansion projects,” the Chief Minister stated during an investment roadshow. He declared that the administration remains committed to facilitating seamless investments through reform-oriented policies.

The Chief Minister also referenced the efficiency of the Fast Track Punjab Portal, which manages single-window clearances. He affirmed that the Industrial and Business Development Policy 2026 stands as one of the most competitive frameworks in the country.

Beyond economic discussions, the visit included a community engagement program with the Punjabi diaspora. The Chief Minister acknowledged the significant role played by the community in bridging the two nations. “Our diaspora members are key partners in the growth journey of the state,” he maintained while seeking their input on future development.
