BULANDSHAHR, July 19 — Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath urged students to embrace hard work and self-discipline, citing Japan’s remarkable post-war economic resurgence as an ideal example for nation-building.

Addressing a gathering at the Rajju Bhaiya Sainik Vidya Mandir on Saturday, the Chief Minister affirmed that individual and social discipline forms the bedrock of a progressive country. He maintained that despite facing massive psychological and economic devastation from atomic attacks in 1945, Japan emerged as a global economic power purely through the steadfast discipline of its citizens. He declared that Indian youth must similarly cultivate a spirit of placing the nation first to help achieve the vision of a developed India.

During the event, the Chief Minister felicitated Baba Rajpal Singh for donating 32 bighas of land to establish the school in Bulandshahr, which he asserted is the district that has produced the maximum number of soldiers and military officers. He further stated that following the successful integration of female students into the state-run Sainik School in Lucknow, girls will soon be admitted to the Bulandshahr facility as well, with a dedicated girls’ hostel to be constructed in memory of Rajju Bhaiya’s mother.

Elaborating on the ‘Panch Pran’ principles outlined by the Prime Minister, the Chief Minister maintained that citizens must discard a colonial mindset, take pride in cultural heritage, foster social equality, honor the armed forces, and diligently perform civic duties. He asserted that true patriotism is reflected when teachers complete syllabi on time, traders oppose black marketing, and farmers work through harsh weather to ensure food security.

School Management Committee Chairman C.L. Bareja, Vidya Bharati Western Region President Manveer, and BJP Regional President Nawab Singh Nagar were present alongside other senior dignitaries at the event chaired by Manju Tyagi.
