Farmers Protest: Police Block Julana Road

by The_unmuteenglish

Chandigarh, 7 December 24: Police have turned Julana village in Jind into a one-way zone near Pauli to manage the farmers’ march towards Delhi, blocking the road with six highway vehicles on one side.

A police force has been deployed ahead with drums to prevent disruptions.

The administration, on high alert, has implemented Section 144 in the district, warning strict action against violators.

Farmers are expected to proceed through the Data Singh Wala border via Jind-Rohtak.

This comes after yesterday’s clash, where Haryana Police used tear gas and water cannons against farmers marching on foot towards Delhi, leaving several injured.

Farmer leader Shravan Singh Pandher’s convoy of 101 Jathas retreated to the Shambhu border following the incident. The farmers have announced another march on December 8, intensifying the situation.
