GMADA Earns ₹1,986.82 Crore from E-Auction

Mohali, March 23 — The Greater Mohali Area Development Authority (GMADA) generated ₹1,986.82 crore in revenue from the sale of 368 properties during an e-auction held from March 12 to 22.

Out of the 453 sites on offer, 85 found no takers. However, GMADA secured major deals, including the sale of a mixed-use site spanning 18,223 square metres in Aerocity to Jalandhar-based Gaurav Infra LLP for ₹264.69 crore.

Another mixed-use site (14,059 square metres) in Aerocity was sold to Springstone Developers LLP for ₹189.36 crore, while Krishna Infra Projects acquired a similar site (13,766.74 square metres) in the same area for ₹188.14 crore.

MGR Trading Company purchased a commercial site in Sector 68 for ₹83 crore.

The e-auction featured 453 sites, including 406 residential plots in Mohali and New Chandigarh, 19 shop-cum-offices (SCOs), 13 booths, eight mixed-use, three commercial, two institutional, and two hotel sites. However, no hotel, booth, or school sites were sold, while five mixed-use, two commercial, 16 SCOs, and 45 residential plots remained unsold.

In its previous auction held in October 2024, GMADA had earned ₹1,893.80 crore by selling 345 properties ahead of Diwali.
