Chandigarh, March 23 — The Chandigarh Traffic Police have issued an advisory ahead of Honey Singh’s concert at the Sector-25 Rally Ground on Sunday, warning of major traffic congestion in the area.

With over 10,000 fans expected, heavy traffic is anticipated from 4 pm onward. According to the advisory, roads around the venue, including the Sector 25/38 dividing road and the Sector 14/25 dividing road leading to Kacha Rasta, Dhanas, should be avoided. Entry restrictions will be enforced on these roads after 4 pm.

Key intersections expected to witness slow-moving traffic include Sector 14/15/24/25 Chowk, Bhaskar Chowk (Sector 24/25-37/38), Dadu Majra Light Point near the Dumping Ground, and Yatri Niwas Chowk (Sector 23/24-15/16).

“There will be no parking facility at or around the concert venue,” the police advisory stated. Vehicles coming from Fadian, Gaushala Chowk, and Mohali side can park at Dussehra Ground, Sector 43, while those arriving from TPT Light Point, Naya Gaon, Kansal, and Zirakpur side are directed to use the Multilevel Parking and adjacent lots in Sector 17.

To ease congestion, commuters are advised to take alternative routes, including Madhya Marg and Dakshin Marg. A shuttle bus service will run from the designated parking areas to the concert venue.
