Chandigarh, October 24, 2024: Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini welcomed a high-level delegation from Germany at his official residence on Thursday with the discussions centered on potential collaborations in key sectors, including automotive, pharmaceuticals, education, skill development, research and development (R&D), and climate change.
During the meeting, Saini noted Haryana’s “Go Global” initiative, stating that the state aims to expand its reach into new markets by actively promoting foreign direct investment (FDI) and enhancing global trade opportunities. “
We are committed to aligning our economic aspirations with Germany’s strengths,” he said.
Both parties expressed a mutual dedication to advancing their interests through strategic partnerships, according to reports.
The discussions also underscored a shared commitment to pursuing eco-friendly industrial policies, stressing the importance of sustainable development in their collaborative efforts, according to a Haryana government spokesperson.
