New Delhi, November 28, 2024: In a noteworthy action, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) has intensified its efforts against human trafficking by conducting raids across six states.
The crackdown targeted a widespread network allegedly involved in trafficking women and children, with 22 locations raided in states including Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Bihar, and Rajasthan.
Sources revealed that during these operations, the NIA detained multiple suspects and recovered critical evidence, including documents potentially linking the accused to the trafficking racket. Investigators believe this network facilitated the illegal trade and exploitation of vulnerable individuals across various parts of the country.
While the agency remains tight-lipped on specific details, officials spotlighted the operation’s importance to national security. The NIA is now working to dismantle the syndicate and ensure justice for the victims.
