Mumbai, 25 march 2025:  Samay Raina has admitted his mistake in the statement recorded in front of Maharashtra Cyber ​​Cell regarding the controversy related to ‘India’s Got Latent’. Samay has also said that he will be careful in future so that such an incident does not happen again.

On the show ‘India’s Got Latent,’ some inappropriate comments and jokes about parents were made. A police complaint was filed against comedian Samay Raina because he is the owner of the show. On Monday Samay Raina gave a statement to the Maharashtra Cyber Cell saying that I apologize for what was said on the show. It all happened spontaneously in the heat of the moment. We never intended to say anything offensive. I now realize that what was said was completely wrong.

Ranveer Allahbadia controversy

The controversy surrounding the show ‘India’s Got Latent’ escalated after YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia made an inappropriate comment about parents. This sparked outrage on social media, leading to a police complaint against both Samay Raina and Ranveer Allahbadia. The case eventually reached court, where both individuals were criticized and reprimanded for their actions.

On the show ‘India’s Got Latent,’ legal action extended beyond Samay Raina and Ranveer Allahbadia. Cases were also filed against influencer Apoorva Mukhija, YouTuber Ashish Chanchlani, and comedian Jaspreet Singh, all of whom were involved in the show. Recently, Samay Raina shared that the entire incident has taken a toll on his mental health, highlighting the emotional impact of the controversy on those involved.
