Chandigarh/Ludhiana,, March 17 – Aam Aadmi Party’s (AAP) national convener Arvind Kejriwal and Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann will visit Ludhiana on Monday to meet industrialists and traders ahead of the Ludhiana West assembly bypoll.

They will also interact with residents to understand local concerns.

Around 400 traders and businessmen are expected to attend the interaction, which will take place at a Ludhiana hotel, a party spokesperson stated. While the bypoll date is yet to be announced, AAP’s leadership visit is drawing political interest, especially after the party named Rajya Sabha MP Sanjeev Arora as its candidate.

The decision to field Arora has sparked speculation that it could pave the way for Kejriwal’s entry into the Rajya Sabha following his defeat in Delhi—an assertion the party has denied.

Arora mentioned that Kejriwal and Mann would address industry and trade-related issues, consulting traders to find solutions. “Minor concerns will be resolved on the spot, while those requiring legal procedures will be taken up by the government for swift action,” he stated.
