LUDHIANA, MAY 21 — The Aam Aadmi Party is experiencing a major wave of pro-incumbency across Punjab that will help the party surpass its previous electoral milestones in the 2027 state assembly polls, party National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal declared Wednesday.

Speaking during a two-day organizational visit to Ludhiana alongside Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, Kejriwal stated that the public response to the administration’s governance over the past four years indicates deep community satisfaction. The party leader maintained that structural public assistance initiatives have effectively neutralized typical anti-incumbency sentiments usually observed at this stage of a government’s tenure.

According to the party leadership, grass-roots discussions across the state focus squarely on infrastructural, agricultural, and domestic welfare accomplishments executed since 2022.

“The Bhagwant Mann Government has taken several historic decisions for the welfare of the people,” Kejriwal asserted during a media interaction. “Due to these unprecedented initiatives, people’s trust in the AAP has grown stronger and the party is fully prepared to return to power with an even bigger majority. There is tremendous pro-incumbency in Punjab in favour of the Government and in 2027, AAP will break its previous record.”

The national convener cited specific public deliverables as the drivers behind this political alignment, including universal free domestic electricity, expanded rural canal irrigation frameworks, comprehensive ten lakh rupee health insurance coverage, and upgraded rural connectivity.

“The brave and wise people of Punjab are praising the works being done by the Government,” Kejriwal noted, pointing to systemic changes across different demographic segments. “From free electricity to irrigation facilities through canal water, from healthcare cover of ₹10 lakh to better roads, every section of society is benefiting.”

Addressing gender-focused welfare, Kejriwal stated that direct cash benefits under the newly launched Mawan Dheeyan Satkar Yojna would soon reach eligible women statewide, expanding on current grass-roots rural developments that include new community playgrounds designed to engage local youth.

Turning his attention to political rivals, the party leader asserted that opposition organizations have struggled to establish viable policy-based arguments against the current administration’s track record in education and public healthcare.

“The opposition has been left with no issue related to public welfare,” Kejriwal said. “The opposition parties have nothing left except hurling abuses at CM Bhagwant Singh Mann. The people of Punjab will give a befitting reply to these parties by completely rejecting them.”
