New Delhi, October 29, 2024 — The family of 10-year-old influencer Abhinav Arora claims he received a death threat on Monday from Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang, adding to the mounting concerns surrounding the young spiritual content creator.
Abhinav’s mother, Jyoti Arora, expressed her alarm at the recent events, stating that her son had done nothing wrong to warrant these threats.
“Abhinav has devoted himself to his faith since he was three,” she said.
“Efforts are being made to escalate this through social media, but he’s done nothing wrong—just devotion. Why should he tolerate such threats?”
According to Jyoti, the family received a message from the Lawrence Bishnoi group saying, “Abhinav will be killed.”
She explained that an unknown number called them last night, followed by a threatening message from the same number the next morning. Abhinav, known for his spiritual content, has recently been at the center of a controversy after a video circulated showing an incident with Swami Rambhadracharya.
The video, recorded at a 2023 event in Vrindavan, shows Swami Rambhadracharya asking Abhinav to leave the stage after the young boy, deep in devotion, began chanting. “People are making it into a bigger issue than it is,” Jyoti explained.
“Elders’ scoldings are blessings too. Swami ji later called Abhinav and blessed him.” Abhinav himself addressed the incident, saying, “Everyone focuses on the scolding but not the blessing he gave me afterward. He invited me into his room, and that moment is captured on video.”
Amid the social media backlash following the video, Abhinav says the threat outside his home has escalated. “There’s chaos outside… threats of violence. How long must we endure this?” he asked.
The video has sparked widespread debate, with some viewing the rebuke as harsh while others see it as a mentor’s guidance.
Meanwhile, authorities are investigating the threat against the young influencer.
