Chandigarh/Ludhiana: Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann formally launched the Aam Aadmi Party’s campaign pamphlet in Ludhiana on Saturday, signalling the start of a extensive door-to-door outreach initiative across the state. The launch event saw the participation of senior leadership, including Punjab Prabhari Manish Sisodia, State President Aman Arora, Cabinet Minister Harpal Singh Cheema, and State Working President Amansher Singh Sherry Kalsi.
Addressing an organisational gathering, the Chief Minister affirmed that the party’s cadre will take the document directly to households to outline developmental milestones. Mann maintained that the administration went beyond its initial guarantees by shutting 19 toll plazas, establishing the Sadak Surakhya Force, and acquiring the Goindwal Sahib thermal power plant.
The Chief Minister asserted that the administration remains focused on public welfare schemes, pointing to initiatives such as 300 units of free power, expanding canal water coverage, transparent merit-based government recruitment, and health infrastructure upgrades. He noted that groundwater conservation efforts have shown positive results in rural belts following the expansion of canal irrigation pipelines.
Joining the session, Punjab Prabhari Manish Sisodia stated that the governance model over the past four and a half years delivered key welfare programs despite administrative challenges. State President Aman Arora affirmed that grassroots volunteers will engage with families across every polling booth to present the government’s performance record.
