Ludhiana, November 28, 2024 – A molestation incident involving a fourth-year student of Shaheed Kartar Singh Sarabha Medical College and Hospital has triggered protests outside the campus. The accused, reportedly outsiders, fled the scene in a car after the assault.
The victim managed to escape during the incident, according to initial reports. Inspector Hira Singh from Jodhan police station has arrived with his team to investigate.
Protesting students have accused authorities of attempting to suppress the matter and are demanding enhanced security for female students and the immediate registration of an FIR against the accused. Police have launched an investigation into the incident.
