Date and Time: Nirjala Ekadashi
Nirjala Ekadashi will be celebrated on June 6 in 2025. This time Ekadashi Tithi will start at 2:15 am on June 6 and will last till 4:47 am the next day on June 7. According to religious texts, when Ekadashi Tithi falls for two days and Udayatithi Tithi coincides on both the days, then devotees living a household life should keep a fast on the first day (i.e. on June 6).
Kamdhenu Cow
In Sanatan Dharma, the cow has been given the status of mother and Kamdhenu, which is considered to fulfill all the wishes. Bringing an idol or picture of Kamdhenu cow in the house on the day of Nirjala Ekadashi is considered very auspicious.
