by chahat sikri

Nirjala Ekadashi 2025: Nirjala Ekadashi is considered one of the most important and virtuous Ekadashis in Hinduism. This holy fast is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and Mother Lakshmi, which is observed on the Ekadashi date of Shukla Paksha of Jyeshtha month. This fast is considered very difficult because fasting is observed without drinking water. This is the reason why Nirjala Ekadashi becomes more fruitful than other Ekadashis.

It is believed that devotees who observe the fast of Nirjala Ekadashi with a true heart and full devotion, get the virtue equal to all the 24 Ekadashis of the year. Bringing some special things home on this day and including them in the worship with rituals is considered very auspicious. These things bring happiness, prosperity, peace and positive energy in the house, due to which the special blessings of Lord Vishnu and Mother Lakshmi remain. Let us know about three such things, bringing which home brings special blessings of Lord Vishnu and Mother Lakshmi.
