Chandigarh, December 2, 2024: The Punjab government will mark the International Day of Persons with Disabilities with a state-level event in Faridkot on December 3, honoring individuals and organizations for their contributions to disability welfare.
Social Security, Women, and Child Development Minister Dr. Baljit Kaur announced that state awards will be presented to employees, individuals, and non-governmental organizations excelling in various categories.
Dr. Kaur encouraged widespread participation in the event, emphasizing its role in raising awareness about welfare schemes for persons with disabilities.
