Chandigarh, August 5: The Punjab Vidhan Sabha approved a formal resolution acknowledging the state administration’s ongoing initiatives in merit-based employment generation, administrative transparency, and industrial investment. Tabled by MLA Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal on the floor of the House, the resolution commended the implementation of a structured two-pronged development strategy focused on streamlining recruitment processes and attracting private sector investments across key districts.
Detailing the recruitment statistics in the assembly, MLA Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal maintained that transparent governance measures have built public trust among job seekers statewide. “By prioritizing merit over past recruitment practices, the government has restored confidence among youth while providing tens of thousands of government posts through clean and fair selection,” MLA Dhaliwal asserted. The state government affirmed its ongoing commitment to expanding job creation across both public departments and emerging industrial units to drive overall regional prosperity.
