NEW DELHI, AUGUST 17: A newly created social media page operating under the moniker “Dimagi Naxal Party” has resumed online activity after going offline briefly, following a rapid surge in its follower base.

The Instagram handle, registered as @dimaginaxalpartyy, returned to the platform with a post stating “we are back” after temporary disruption. Prior to the interruption, page administrators shared statements claiming the handle was subjected to multiple cyberattack attempts.

“We have been successful in weeding out Naxals with weapons, but those with Naxal mentality are still around,” declared Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his Red Fort speech on Independence Day, urging citizens to identify and isolate ideological influences. He maintained that individuals with Maoist thinking had long established themselves within policy-making corridors.

The political terminology quickly drew responses across party lines.

“I am proud to be a dimagi Naxal,” asserted former Union Home Minister P Chidambaram, framing the phrase alongside earlier political descriptors. Meanwhile, Union Minister Kiren Rijiju maintained that the remark was not directed at opposition leaders but at individuals attempting to subvert constitutional frameworks and support separatist tendencies.

The anonymous page carrying the slogan “Think, Research, Resist” has accumulated over 1.9 lakh followers while following key public figures, journalists, and existing satire handles like the Cockroach Janta Party.
