Bilaspur, 10 November 2024: A thick blanket of fog enveloped the Bliaspur city Sunday morning, reducing visibility to mere meters and forcing drivers to exercise extreme caution.
According to inputs, the fog lingered till 10 am, impacting major roads, including the old main road, and making travel challenging.
With visibility dipping below 10 meters, many drivers opted to pull over, while others switched on headlights and drove at a slow pace.
Traffic slowed to a crawl in several areas, causing minor jams. Pedestrians and motorists waited on the roadside, hoping conditions would improve.
Traffic police urged drivers to proceed with caution, attributing the dense fog to high humidity and rising pollution levels.
