Chandigarh, 23 De ember 2024: A 19-year-old was taken into custody for a knife attack that injured a man in Chandigarh’s Ramdarbar area on October 17.
According to police, the incident occurred near the victim’s home when Dheeraj Kumar, a local resident, was standing with his friend Harsh. Three individuals, identified as Vineet, LD, and Bhandu, allegedly approached them and attacked Kumar with a knife. Kumar sustained injuries, and the assailants fled the scene.
“Following a thorough investigation, Vineet, also known as Pingu, was arrested, and the knife used in the attack was recovered,” said a police official. Vineet, also from Ramdarbar, has been sent to judicial custody.
The search continues for the remaining two suspects, LD and Bhandu, who are still at large. Authorities are actively working to locate and arrest them.
