NEW DELHI / LONDON, May 29 – Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MP Raghav Chadha is set to represent India at the Ideas for India Conference 2025, where he will address a distinguished gathering at the Royal Lancaster London on May 30. Organized by UK-based think tank Bridge India, the forum is a focal point for conversations on India’s economic, strategic and diplomatic trajectory.

The annual conference, a centerpiece of India Week, is expected to draw over 1,100 attendees, including policymakers, investors, academics, and members of the Indian diaspora. Past speakers have included UK Deputy Prime Minister Angela Rayner, former RBI Governor Dr. Raghuram Rajan, and business leaders such as Lord John Browne.

Chadha, who recently addressed the Asian Leadership Conference 2025 in Seoul, will contribute to a session titled “India in a Multipolar World”, reflecting on India’s expanding global footprint and its dual role as a bridge between developed economies and emerging nations.

The MP will also present an overview of India’s evolving defense posture, with special focus on the success of Operation Sindoor. Speaking ahead of the event, he remarked, “India’s recent defense advancements, exemplified by the successful execution of Operation Sindoor, have showcased the nation’s growing self-reliance and technological prowess. The operation not only demonstrated India’s tactical military success but also served as a powerful endorsement of its indigenous defense capabilities.”

With global power structures shifting and economic alliances being redefined, Chadha underscored the relevance of the conference at this juncture.

“As global economic dynamics shift and the world adjusts to new geopolitical realities, India continues to stand out as a key driver of growth,” he said.

“At a time when nations are rethinking trade relationships and supply chain resilience, the UK and India have a unique opportunity to deepen their partnership in meaningful, future-oriented ways. I’m looking forward to engaging with leaders across sectors at Ideas for India 2025 to explore how we can collectively shape this next chapter of India’s development.”

Chadha’s presence aligns with the forum’s broader objectives—stimulating fresh policy, trade, and investment dialogue to shape India’s next decade. His voice is expected to resonate not only with the diaspora but also with international stakeholders eyeing India’s democratic, technological, and diplomatic evolution.
