CHANDIGARH, Oct 28 — The Haryana government on Monday ordered a reshuffle in the state bureaucracy, transferring and assigning new responsibilities to nine IAS officers across key departments including energy, urban development, and IT.
According to the official notification, Shyamal Misra, chief administrator of the Trade Fair Authority of Haryana, has been given additional charge as principal secretary, energy. Ganesan, currently serving as director general, Housing for All, and chief executive officer for several externally aided projects including the Haryana AI Development Project (HAIDP) and the Haryana Clean Air Project for Sustainable Development (HCAPSD), will now also serve as CEO of the Gurugram and Faridabad Metropolitan Development Authorities.
Ashok Kumar Meena, managing director of Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam and secretary, energy, has been transferred as director general, development and panchayats, replacing Dusmanta Kumar Behera. Behera, who serves as secretary to the governor, will now hold the additional charge of labour commissioner.
Mani Ram Sharma has been appointed as managing director, Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam Limited, and secretary, energy. Meanwhile, Aditya Dahiya, special secretary, personnel, training and parliamentary affairs, and director, department of future, has been assigned additional charge as director, new and renewable energy, Haryana.
The order also posted Mahender Pal, special secretary, industries and commerce, as managing director, HARTRON, and managing director, Haryana Vidyut Prasaran Nigam. Amar Deep Singh will take charge as registrar, cooperative societies, while Varsha Khangwal, additional director (administration), information and public relations, has been given additional charge as additional secretary, vigilance.
