Gurugram, March 13, 2026 —Shimla police have arrested a key supplier of LSD from Gurugram, Haryana. The suspect, identified as 27-year-old Naviel Harrison of Calicut, Kerala, was apprehended following a trail that began with a massive drug haul earlier this week.

Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Shimla, Abhishek Dhiman, stated during a press conference that the arrest was the result of investigation into a March 10 seizure. On that day, police officials arrested two individuals in the BCS area of Shimla with 562 strips of LSD, valued at approximately Rs 1.1 crore. The arrested duo, identified as Sandeep Sharma of Punjab and Priya Sharma of Sirmaur, reportedly provided information that led the police to Harrison.

“A team was dispatched to nab the accused who was arrested today from Haryana,” ASP Dhiman declared. He affirmed that digital evidence and interrogation revealed a long-standing connection between Harrison and the other suspects. Authorities asserted that the group used encrypted WhatsApp calls to coordinate their activities.

The ASP further noted that the network involved a barter-like exchange, where Sandeep Sharma allegedly supplied ganja to Harrison in return for the synthetic drug. The police department maintained that 144 persons have been arrested under the NDPS Act so far this year, including 14 peddlers from outside Himachal Pradesh. Officials affirmed that the investigation is ongoing to identify other participants in this interstate syndicate.
