Recent attacks on police stations and political offices are being viewed by law enforcement as part of an escalated strategic push originating across the border.
Senior police officials stated that an internal security evaluation indicates a recalibration of cross-border tactics following major counter-terror operations last year.
The police assessment maintains that the hostile intelligence agency is coordinating with foreign-based nodes across Europe, North America, and Southeast Asia to smuggle sophisticated hardware into the state. Law enforcement sources affirmed that the nature of weaponry being introduced has broadened significantly, moving beyond traditional small arms to include remote-controlled prefabricated RDX devices and low-grade incendiary bombs.
Investigating agencies declared that target profiles have expanded from defense installations and political leaders to public infrastructure and high-footfall civilian spaces.
A state-wide operational review shows that police teams have neutralized 10 terror modules and arrested 137 individuals through targeted investigations this year. Seizures across these operations include 12 RDX-based prefabricated IEDs, nearly four kilograms of raw RDX, 49 hand grenades, an RPG launcher, and 83 firearms.
