Lucknow, Sept 12: The Uttar Pradesh Government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, has sanctioned Rs 6.55 crore for the 2026-27 financial year to enhance monitoring mechanisms and child tracking systems across Parishadiya schools.
Director General of School Education Monica Rani has issued detailed operational directives to all District Basic Education Officers regarding the utilization and monitoring of the released grant.
Out of the total sanction of Rs 655.01 lakh, an amount of Rs 262.00 lakh has been earmarked for Management Information System activities under U-DISE Plus, while Rs 393.01 lakh is designated for the Child Tracking System.
State education authorities maintained that the financial allocation will be routed through School Management Committees at the ground level to ensure targeted utilization.
The primary objective involves linking every student’s educational progress with a unique APAAR ID integrated into the Child Tracking System, establishing a unified database for tracking academic continuity and enrolment.
District Basic Education Officers have been instructed to monitor expenditure progress regularly via designated web portals and maintain strict oversight at the school level.
Basic Education Minister Sandeep Singh declared that the initiative will bring greater transparency, accountability, and digital efficiency to the state school management framework. Director General Monica Rani affirmed that integrating student profiles through APAAR IDs will streamline monitoring, ensuring that approved funds are utilized transparently under prescribed heads by local management committees.
