Chandigarh: The Aam Aadmi Party has announced a statewide door-to-door public outreach drive starting September 20, aimed at engaging households across Punjab and highlighting the achievements of the state administration. AAP Punjab Affairs In-charge Manish Sisodia outlined the campaign strategy during a press conference alongside AAP Punjab President Aman Arora and Working President Amansher Singh Sherry Kalsi. Over 2.68 lakh booth committee members across 25,332 booths will participate in the grassroots effort. Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann will launch the campaign by participating directly in Dhuri, following the release of the party’s official campaign literature and the launch of a parallel membership drive in Ludhiana.
Manish Sisodia affirmed that the state administration has completed four-and-a-half years in office, implementing key developmental promises made to the public. He stated that agricultural reforms, such as improved canal water access and daytime power supply, have provided direct support to farmers, while state initiatives in government schools and regulation of private school fee structures continue to benefit families. He added that welfare guarantees covering electricity and water services have delivered significant annual savings to average households across the state.
AAP Punjab President Aman Arora asserted that party volunteers hold the responsibility of communicating the administration’s progress to citizens while contrasting current initiatives with the governance track records of previous state regimes. He expressed confidence that direct public engagement through booth committees will reinforce public trust and strengthen the party’s standing across the state.
