Lucknow, Sept 21: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath addressed public grievances during a ‘Janta Darshan’ session in Lucknow, directing District Magistrates and Superintendents of Police to personally oversee and resolve minor local incidents before they escalate. Examining applications submitted by citizens from various districts, the Chief Minister affirmed that administrative negligence regarding public complaints will not be tolerated.
The Chief Minister instructed senior administrative and police leadership, including Police Commissioners, ADGs, IGs, and DIGs, to maintain strict supervision over subordinate performance and ensure time-bound resolution of grievances. He maintained that victim satisfaction remains the highest priority of the administration, particularly in matters related to the police and revenue departments.
To prevent land disputes and harassment, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath directed officials to take stern action against land mafias and influential offenders. He also instructed field officers to streamline access to state welfare schemes and medical assistance for eligible citizens seeking support.
