Lucknow, September 23: Under the governance of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the UP International Trade Show 2026, scheduled from September 25 to 29 at the India Expo Mart in Greater Noida, will integrate commercial trade displays with state cultural heritage. The five-day mega event will feature structured daily evening performances showcasing Uttar Pradesh’s traditional folk art, classical music, and contemporary entertainment.
The cultural schedule opens on the first evening with a Shankh Vadan and Swasti Vachan performance by Rashmi Arya of Baghpat, followed by folk renditions by Malvika Hariom, Mathura folk dance by Seema Morwal, a Kathak dance drama by Akanksha Srivastava, and bhajan clubbing by Akanksha Tripathi. The second evening will present an instrumental ensemble by Pt. Chetan Joshi, folk music by Vandana Mishra, Kathak by Maryada Kulshreshtha, Dhedhiya dance by Purnima Kumar, and a headline Star Night performance by Bollywood singer Monali Thakur.
Subsequent evenings will showcase a Pakhawaj trio by Pt. Ravishankar Upadhyay and Pt. Rishishankar Upadhyay, Alha singing by Sheelu Singh Rajput, Rai folk dance by Vandana Kushwaha, Kathak by Priyamvada Singh, a dance drama by Ranjana Neb, and a performance by the Sarvatra Band. The fourth evening features a sitar recital by Padma Shri Pt. Shivnath Mishra, light music by Sabina Saifi, Kathak by Nisha Kesari, Tharu tribal dance by Rajneesh Rana, and Sufi music by the Banda Bairagi Band. The festival concludes on its final evening with bhajan singing by Omprakash Dubey, folk music by Rakesh Upadhyay, Kathak by Mitali Saini, and a “Colors of India” dance presentation choreographed by Shriram Sankhla.
Government officials declared that combining commercial exhibitions with traditional arts aims to promote local artists, encourage investment, and present the state’s cultural identity to domestic and international visitors.
