Dhaula, April 29: A drone discovery at the Trident Group’s manufacturing facility in Dhaula village triggered a security alert early Tuesday morning. The incident occurred at the paper manufacturing division of the plant located on Mansa Road, prompting an immediate response from local law enforcement and plant authorities.

Workers at the unit stated that they observed an unidentified object descending from the sky at approximately 5:30 am. Upon closer inspection, the staff identified the object as a drone and quickly notified their shift supervisors. The plant management subsequently contacted the police to initiate a formal inquiry into the origin of the device.

Tapa DSP Jaskaran Singh Brar, who led the responding team, declared that the recovered item appeared to be a toy-type drone with a limited operational range. The DSP affirmed that the device has a range of roughly 50 to 60 meters and is currently undergoing a technical examination. He maintained that officials are checking CCTV footage from the premises and will involve forensic experts if the investigation requires further analysis.

The event follows a period of heightened activity surrounding the Trident Group, after its founder and Rajya Sabha member Rajinder Gupta recently changed his political affiliation. While police have not stated any definitive conclusions regarding the intent behind the drone, security protocols at the facility were reviewed as a precautionary measure.
