Lucknow, Sept 13: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath announced that Prime Minister Narendra Modi built his identity through penance, spiritual discipline, and struggle rather than any political dynasty or hereditary legacy.
Addressing a press conference at the Bharatiya Janata Party state office, the Chief Minister maintained that the entire nation is currently reaping the benefits of the Prime Minister’s capable leadership.
To express gratitude for PM Modi completing 25 years as head of government—first as Chief Minister of Gujarat and later as Prime Minister—the state government and the BJP organization will jointly organize a month-long ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’ from September 17 to October 17.
The initiative will launch on the Prime Minister’s birthday, designated as ‘Seva Diwas’, with the lighting of ‘Aashirwad Ka Diya’ across Gram Panchayats and urban local bodies, alongside blood donation drives and hospital visits.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath affirmed that 20 yatras will travel between Badnagar and Kashi carrying water from 10 rivers of Uttar Pradesh.
A key component of the campaign, ‘Seva Setu’, will set up multi-day camps across 826 development blocks and 762 urban local bodies to connect left-out eligible citizens with government welfare schemes on the spot.
The Chief Minister asserted that under PM Modi’s tenure, India has transitioned from the ‘Fragile Five’ to the world’s top five economies while scaling up modern infrastructure, including expressways, metro networks, and 23 AIIMS institutions.
He declared that cultural heritage projects such as Kashi Vishwanath Dham and the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple reflect a decisive shift away from past mindsets.
The campaign will conclude on October 7, featuring state-level awards for youth academic competitions focused on the vision of an Atmanirbhar and Viksit Bharat.
