Chandigarh, 11 December 2024: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) launched early morning raids on Wednesday in Punjab’s Bathinda, Muktsar Sahib, and Mansa districts, targeting individuals linked to drug smuggling.
One of the raids was conducted at a house in Green Avenue on Bathinda Road bypass. In Muktsar Sahib, the NIA searched the residence of Amandeep, who is currently imprisoned in Nabha Jail under charges filed under the NDPS Act.
The raids are part of a broader crackdown on drug-related activities. Operations were ongoing at multiple locations as of the latest updates.
