Samba, Sep 14: Another pigeon carrying a ring with a Pakistani mobile number has been caught in Samba district near the International Border on Monday evening.
Officials said that at around 1730 hours today, an Int Buddy received a call from a local resident of Chak Dayala who reported finding a pigeon near his house.
On checking, a ring/stamp bearing a Pakistani mobile number (Jazz Network) was found on the pigeon’s leg.
The pigeon has been handed over to BPP Pangdour for further investigation.
Earlier in the day, a suspicious pigeon with a numbered ring was also found in Ramgarh sector of the same district.
Security agencies are investigating both incidents.
