Amritsar/Chandigarh, 30 October 2024: In a disturbing trend of rising robberies across Punjab, a recent heist at the Punjab National Bank (PNB) branch in Nagkalan village near Majitha town saw armed assailants looting around Rs. 6.25 lakh.
According to reports, the robbery took place in the absence of security personnel.
However, surveillance cameras captured the entire incident.
Upon receiving the alert, police quickly arrived on the scene to assess the situation and begin an investigation.
A probe has been started and further details will be shared accordingly, police added.
