Uttar Pradesh government to issue appointment letters to over eight hundred candidates

Lucknow, Sept 19: The Uttar Pradesh government is scheduled to distribute official appointment letters to 818 newly selected candidates across multiple state departments during a distribution ceremony at the Lok Bhavan auditorium in Lucknow. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will personally hand over appointment letters to twenty-one selected individuals, while respective administrative departments will issue the remaining 797 letters to the candidate pool. The recruitment drive encompasses positions within the Vocational Education, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Department, the Uttar Pradesh Directorate of Industries, the Medical and Health Services Department, and the AYUSH Department.

Under the Vocational Education, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Department, forty-eight candidates have been selected as trade instructors across technical disciplines including Plumber, Mechanic, Wireman, Painter, Surveyor, and Leather Goods Maker. The Uttar Pradesh Directorate of Industries in Kanpur will induct nine Assistant Statistical Officers to support data collection and departmental statistical analysis related to industrial development across the state.

The healthcare sector accounts for a significant portion of the total recruitments. The Medical and Health Services Department will issue appointment letters to 357 selected X-ray Technicians. Additionally, the AYUSH Department is bringing on 404 candidates across various specialized medical roles, including 361 Homeopathic Pharmacists alongside professorial, reader, and lecturer positions across Homeopathic, Ayurvedic, and Unani disciplines. Officials declared that these appointments are aimed at strengthening technical training, administrative efficiency, and public healthcare delivery across Uttar Pradesh.
