The Indian team won the T20 World Cup title last year under Rohit’s captaincy. This was Team India’s first ICC title after 2013. Rohit Sharma is the only player to score three double centuries in ODI cricket. He scored 209 runs against Australia in Bengaluru in 2013. After that, he scored 264 runs against Sri Lanka at Eden Gardens, Kolkata in 2014. At the same time, he scored an unbeaten 208 against Sri Lanka in Mohali in 2017.
Most centuries in a World Cup
Rohit Sharma is the player who has scored the most centuries in a single ODI World Cup. He scored five centuries in the 2019 World Cup. Rohit scored an unbeaten 122 against South Africa in Southampton, 140 against Pakistan in Manchester, 102 against England in Birmingham, 104 against Bangladesh in Birmingham and 103 against Sri Lanka in Leeds. However, despite his five centuries, Team India could not win the World Cup. It lost to New Zealand in the semi-finals.

Rohit Sharma has been a part of the IPL champion team six times. He is the only player to win six IPLs. He won the IPL in 2009 while playing for the Deccan Chargers team. After that, as a player of Mumbai Indians, he won the IPL in 2013, 2015, 2017, 2019 and 2020. Rohit Sharma is the captain who has won the most IPL titles.
