City Gets Relief from Heat as Temperatures Dip

Chandigarh, May 3: Residents experienced a welcome break from the scorching heat on Friday, with the maximum temperature dropping to 31.1°C—6.5 degrees below normal.

This cooldown followed Thursday’s rainfall, which measured 12.9 mm, and brought down temperatures from a high of 36°C recorded the previous day.

According to the weather department, the city can expect partly cloudy skies with chances of thundery developments over the next five days.
