Chandigarh, June 10: The Aam Aadmi Party will hold an important two-day organizational session in New Delhi on Thursday to formulate its core strategy for the upcoming Punjab Assembly elections. AAP National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal will chair the high-level gathering of the party’s Political Affairs Committee, which will focus primarily on assessing potential candidates and mapping out the distribution of tickets across individual constituencies.

Party sources stated that the initial phase of the assembly will specifically evaluate regional sectors where local representatives may be replaced to improve electoral prospects. Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann is scheduled to join the political deliberations immediately following separate administrative engagements in the national capital.

“An important meeting of the Aam Aadmi Party’s Political Affairs Committee will be held in New Delhi tomorrow,” a senior party representative stated when confirming the operational timeline.

The committee maintained that a constituency-by-constituency analysis is necessary to ensure robust local representation before launching the formal campaign. State coordinators noted that the extensive two-day review will allow the top leadership to gather direct feedback from regional observers and carefully vet candidate profiles.

Prior to the political session, Chief Minister Mann will attend the scheduled NITI Aayog meeting in New Delhi earlier on Thursday to discuss regional development parameters. Following the conclusion of the federal policy review, Mann will transition to the party headquarters to participate in the political committee’s evening deliberations on June 11.
