Mumbai, 17 January 2025: Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis addressed the stabbing incident involving actor Saif Ali Khan, asserting Mumbai’s safety and urging against drawing unsafe conclusions about the city.
Speaking after attending the screening of Kangana Ranaut’s film Emergency on Thursday, Fadnavis underlined, “Mumbai is the safest among big cities in the country. Isolated incidents like this should be taken seriously, but they don’t define the city’s security.”
Actor Saif Ali Khan was attacked at his Bandra residence, sustaining six stab wounds to his neck and spine.
Following surgery at Lilavati Hospital, he is reportedly out of danger.
